Ever dream of flying?
Of looking down on yourself on your happiest day?
How about sharing that experience with someone else?

Acephalography
UAS & Drone Photography
Capturing unique perspectives from above, Acephalography blends art and technology to create stunning visual stories. Inspired by the word "acephalous," our approach aspires to feel headless—allowing the drone to record, write, and capture moments from a new perspective.
Elevating the ordinary to the extraordinary, one flight at a time.

I started enjoying photography during college while traveling with friends and coaches on the Binghamton University Debate Team, where I got to cross the country from 2006-2010 with my first DSLR camera shooting whatever subjects or events would allow me. What began as a way to share adventures, memorialize victories, or capture memories persisted with me through law school and careers in the insurance and financial services industries while I moonlit shooting freight train graffiti and the redevelopment of Pittsburgh’s Strip District.
Since escaping the cranberry bogs, Blue Hills, and Berkshires winters I grew up in for the rich industrial beauty of Western Pennsylvania, I've wanted to find a way to discover, record, and share unique perspectives of my constantly shifting immediate surroundings — the way I wish I could share the quick happy jolt I had when my car erupted out of the Ft. Pitt tunnels for the first time to see the Golden Triangle.
Acephalography's purpose is to stop hoarding that ordinary joy and share it.
